Hi,
Been recently working on a fun little stellaris clone, and have gotten a basic galaxy generated. However I want the galaxy's stars to glow a little bit. I found a tutorial that handled it via post processing, which does look good... when it's stationary. When you move the camera, the post processing particles phase in and out, like sometimes a star is in a location, then another time that star disappears, just to reappear when you move the camera further.
Wondering if post processing is the wrong way to go about this, as there can be around 2000 stars generated (post processing on each star might be a tough thing for a PC to handle) Any better suggestions on how I can achieve a slight glow effect on each star? Thanks!
